afewnovelideas: Did you know that both DC and Marvel Comics believe they “own” the word “superhero”? As if I needed another reason to dislike and distrust the Big Two. It’s utterly ridiculous to think that these two rival companies can band together for the sake of monopolizing a word that has been in the dictionary since 1917, before either company even existed.
